Glamorous actress Moushumi has been cast as the lead actress of the film ‘Ratrir Jatri’ directed by Habibul Islam Habib.
The director said, “I was searching for an actress who could portray this challenging character. At last, I found Moushumi”.
The plot revolves around a boy and a girl who fall in love, but the girl is forced to move from her village. The most interesting part is that the story starts when she gets down from the train at night and ends at dawn.
The director has tried to portray struggle between love and life in the movie. It is based on ‘Ulto Raat Palta Din’, a stage play written by the director himself in 1980s.
“The film will tell the story of a confused journey that the girl started from village to town. She makes the night-long journey to search for her dream and she lives in hallucination,” Habib said.
